CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Under the main theme of our conference, "Cities Under Global Social Transformations: Embracing Change for a Greener Future," you can explore the session topics here.

You can submit your conference paper abstracts by registering at this link.

Additionally, there is an opportunity to participate with works that align with the main theme, even if they do not fit into one of the established sessions.

Conference Presentation Options

1) Full paper presentation

In this session format, scientists can present their current research in a detailed presentation of about 15-20 minutes. The presentations can be conceptual or empirical papers. Each session lasts 90 minutes and should include besides presentations a sufficient time for discussing the presentations with the audience.

2) Speed talk

This session format encourages scientists to pitch new research ideas, projects in an initial starting phase or critical reflections about previous learnings in a short presentation between 5-10 minutes. The short impulses pave the way for discussions with the audience. A speed talk session can last a maximum of 90 minutes.  

3) Dialogue sessions

In this session, an interactive format can be suggested which can address scientists and practitioners likewise. Within 60 minutes, session participants can explore in an inspiring environment innovative research approaches, complex sustainability challenges or its potential solutions. The focus of this session format is on co-creation and we welcome in particular creative submissions such as role games, arts or embodied practices.

4) Poster Session
This format provides researchers with the opportunity to present their work through poster presentations. Poster sessions encourage direct interaction between researchers and the audience, allowing for broader engagement with the research.
